I love the slouchy boot trend and am glad it's here to stay for the fall. Online at one of my absolute favorite sites, shopgoldyn, they have a great pair of slouchy boots by Charlotte Ronson on sale! And my personal favorite a blend between a fold-over boot/bootie by Goldenbleu on sale too! Style mavens need to check this store out!

In St. Tropez in July window shopping. Agree on the ruffles. And, love to hear that the fabulous patent leather boots I bought here last year will still be in. The only difference is that not so much with the bomber jackets, the leather jackets here are all belted (but bomber jacket material, or patent leather) - and Ray-Bans are the rage. Skinny jeans are in for the under 30 crowd (paired with converse high-tops). Over 30, it's the wide leg trouser jeans (loving my new pair). Saw a few cardigans, but not much. My guess is that they were in the 20-something store as they look fab with skinny jeans.

@barchbo - saw some eggplant/plum in the fall lineup. Rest of fall was grey, black, brown, beige, netural.

I'm getting the boots too! I love the look - especially with jeans. I love plum for the fall! I would say the plum patent clutch is a great piece to have this season.

It's confirmed! I will be purchasing slouchy boots this fall! There is a pair in Lucky that I must go back and peruse - I was in doubt, but no longer!

I pretty much have everything else already - hurrah! What do you think about plum for fall?! I have a divoon new (old) eggplant patent clutch. And I am sticking with my brand-new motorcycle jacket from Bs As. But I love that See by Chloe one...sigh.
