style observer: 80’s flashback?

  • Elisa · 1 year ago
I'll be the first to admit that the 80s had pretty decent music and movies, but the fashion... no. no, no, no, no, no. It should stay buried. I will tolerate the flats, but not the rest. Yuck.*shivers*

im not aware that during 80's this kind of bracelets are already present in the industry.

As long as the boxy shoulder pads stay buried, I could tolerate the rest. It's fun, colorful, interesting, and great fun for discussion and people-watching.
So much of fashion is predictable and stylized...80s fashion is very anti-that.

I still mis Ton Sur Ton. Sigh. And my Vuarnets.

I've noticed for the last couple of years that there hasn't really been much new fashion but at the same time the fashion world brings back a few items from say the 60's one year and then the 80's the next and make it new again.

Now if they don't bring back these 80's shoulder pads and 90's neon clothing fad I'll be happy.

Everything in moderation sounds good to me.

I am a child of the 80s so I naturally gravitate towards the trend. I could never wear the big shoulders though as mine are naturally broad, but the vibrant colors and leggings...oh yeah!
