Awful. Terrible. Hate them. I have yet to see anything off the runway that looks good/classy/appealing...it just turns tragic. So, so, tragic. It's the pants equivalent of a midriff-baring shirt if everyone in the world had a muffin top.

This is an instance of a runway v. real-way flop. My biggest dislike it that it sends people the message that this looks good!

I actually think the denim ones are a cute 70's throwback, but I couldn't pull them off-- or get them on for that matter! LOL...

Those beige ones look tragically like old timey underpants.

horrible. I would never wear this. It looks like a girdle/short hybrid. hideous, actually!

Wow...trashy they look!!!

I'm with you...who would wear such a look...first of all short shorts with heels...I'm sorry but that is just wrong!!!

I actually own a pair of high waisted shorts (although they are neither short nor tight) and I look incredible in them. Forever 21 has a nice collection of high waisted shorts.
