I couldn't agree more with your American style observation. When I go "out" I am dressed to the nines, but if it's just grocery shopping or running errands, I'm fine wearing sweats. It would be nice to have options such as these.
But then again, I do live in Wisconsin so it is REALLY easy to look great in your sweats :)

Something tells me you know exactly how to wear sweats & no doubt look great! You are right, American women have a wide range. I guess you could say we are very versatile, and that's a good thing.
