I also wear the occasional straw cowboy hat because I live in Austin and it's practical for the heat. I have some straw boaters, an Ascot-worthy black straw hat with a ginormous satin bow from summer study abroad, baseball caps, and ski hats. A faux-fur Russian-style hat that I lug anyplace the temp drops below 50.
No berets or fedoras for me, alas. Not my style. Love that straw fedora and the Miss Sixty cap. Sigh.
